"The HIS Radeon HD 6850 offers good playable performance with games and the video card operates very cool, quiet and is power efficent. Maybe it was a little unfair putting the HIS Radeon HD 6850 up against the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme but they are available for roughly the same price. The HIS Radeon HD 6850 finishes 12% slower than the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme. This is probably due to the HIS Radeon HD 6850 having 34% less Shader Processors compared to the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme. The problem with the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme is that it's reached it's end of life so stocks are falling fast. It wasn't all down and gloom for the HIS Radeon HD 6850 which did win one Benchmark. AMD did improve Tessellation for the HIS Radeon HD 6850 so in the future when this is used more in games the HIS Radeon HD 6850 will probably overtake the Sapphire Radeon HD 5850 Xtreme in performance with games."
