The HIS Radeon HD 3870 has all of the latest features like GDDR4 Memory, 320 Pixel Shaders but it was still beaten by the XFX GeForce 8800 GT which uses GDDR3 memory and only has 112 Pixel Shaders. The HIS Radeon HD 3870 is not slow and was only usually 5% slower than the XFX GeForce 8800 GT. For this reason I am recommending the HIS Radeon HD 3870 because it is available over 10% cheaper than the XFX GeForce 8800 GT which makes the HIS Radeon HD 3870 great value for money."
