The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5670 is 11% cheaper than the Gigabyte Radeon HD 4770 so it's lower performance was expected. The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5670 is supplied with 1GB of GDDR5 Memory while the Gigabyte Radeon HD 4770 only has 512MB GDDR5 Memory. The Gigabyte Radeon HD 5670 is very quiet and even during extended benchmarking the Gigabyte Radeon HD 5670 remained cool.
