AMD Sempron 2600"AMD Sempron 2600 type Palermo is a Socket 754 Processor operating at 1600Mhz, has a Front Side Bus speed of 200Mhz and 128K L2 Cache. AMD Sempron 2600 supports MMX+, 3DNow+, SSE, SSE2, SSE3 and x86-64."
FEATURED REVIEW"The Sempron 2600 performed very well especially when you consider it has a lower clockspeed and half of the Level 2 Cache found on the Sempron 3100. The Sempron 2600 performed especially well during the Synthetic Benchmarks and there was only an 11% difference in performance between the Sempron 2600 and Sempron 3100. Gaming performance is a different story and the Sempron 2600 was 24% slower than the Sempron 3100 which means that the Sempron 2600 is only marginally better value for money when you are talking about game performance. It comes down to which is the most important, a saving of 28% which is $25 or an extra 24% gaming performance?"
